Our Committees

Working committees meet regularly to monitor community-wide strategies for prevention and education, treatment and recovery, and policy and enforcement.

Prevention & Education

Our Prevention and Education committee uses evidence-based prevention strategies and education techniques to provide information to the public and our partners on substance use issues. 

LRSAC Prevention and Education Committee meets the 2nd Monday of each month from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 225 South High St., Bridgton, ME 04009

Treatment & Recovery

Our Treatment and Recovery Committee works to develop relationships within the treatment and recovery community. We work with partners in the Lakes Region who provide evidence-based treatment and recovery services. 

LRSAC Treatment and Recovery Committee meets the 4th Friday of each month from 9:30-11:00 a.m., at various locations.

Policy & Enforcement

Our Policy and Enforcement group works on evidence-based policy and law enforcement strategies that prevent opioid overdose deaths and provide referral to treatment and recovery services to local private and public institutions, law enforcement and the court system in the Lakes Region.  

LRSAC Policy and Enforcement Committee meets the 1st Thursday of each month from 4:30-6:00 p.m. at Bridgton Police Department, 8 Iredale St., Bridgton, ME 04009
